ProLon Review 2026: Inside the 5-Day Box on the EU Store

It's Sunday evening, and a slim cardboard box sits on the kitchen counter next to the kettle. Inside are five smaller boxes, each labelled for a single day and packed with soup sachets, nut bars, little packs of olives, kale crackers and a stack of herbal tea. No grocery list, no meal planning — just a printed card that tells you what belongs to Day 1.
That box is the ProLon 5-Day, the signature product from ProLon. This review covers the brand's European store, prolon.eu, where everything is priced in euros. MollyReviews went through the catalog, bundles, prices and published policies in October 2026 so you know exactly what you're paying for.
The Story: From a University Lab to a Genoa Storefront
ProLon credits its program to research at the University of Southern California led by Dr. Valter Longo, and to L-Nutra, which the brand describes as a nutri-tech company. The European shop is run by L-Nutra Italia S.r.l., registered in Genova, Italy, and it ships orders with UPS.
The brand calls its 5-Day kit a "Fasting Mimicking Diet": a plant-based, calorie-restricted meal program meant to be eaten over five consecutive days. In this review we stick to what is in the box, what it costs and how the brand says to use it. We don't make any promises about what it does to your body — that's a conversation for your doctor.
Talk to your doctor before you order. The start commitment ProLon asks shoppers to accept at checkout calls the program a low-calorie diet and says it should not be used by anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding, or allergic to nuts or other ingredients. People with a diagnosed condition or on prescription medication are asked to use it only with the approval and supervision of a medical professional.
What's Actually in the Box
- Five day-boxes, one per day. According to the brand, they hold plant-based energy bars, soups, snacks such as olives and kale crackers, herbal teas and supplements.
- A meal card. It suggests how to spread each day's items, but the brand says you can eat them in any order — as long as you don't carry food over to the next day.
- A day-6 transition. The FAQ says you move back to normal eating on the sixth day.
- Brand labels: mostly plant-based, gluten-free and non-GMO.
- Soup menus: Original, Variety 2, Variety 3, Variety 4, Next Gen and Next Gen Expanded Variety.
The smaller Reset 1-Day Kit shows the same idea at a glance. Its product page lists a Tomato Soup Mix, a Butternut Squash Soup Mix, L-Bar Choco Crisp and L-Bar Nut bars, an Almonds & Kale Cracker, sea-salt green olives, caffeine-free herbal teas and two food supplements (algal oil DHA and an NR-3 multivitamin) — 765 calories in total, according to the brand.

5-Day or Reset?
The 5-Day is the full five-box program. The Reset is a single day's worth of food in one box, and at €39 it's a low-cost way to see the soups, bars and crackers before you commit to the bigger kit.
Original or Next Gen?
Both follow the same five-day format; the difference is the menu. Original, Variety 2 and Variety 3 were €179 when we checked, while Next Gen versions cost €249–€259. If you just want to try the format, the Original menu is the lower-cost entry.
Bundles for planners
The Beginner Bundle (€151, listed regular price €188.90) is built around the Reset kit and the Nutrition Bar, and the Intermittent Fasting Bundle (€284.80, listed regular price €356) pairs the 5-Day with the Nutrition Bar and a Reset kit.

Our Verdict
ProLon's European store sells a tidy, pre-packed product: five labelled boxes of soups, bars, crackers, olives and teas, with a clear menu card and several flavor line-ups. It isn't cheap, the return rules are strict, and it is only for people who have checked with their doctor.
