Our Place Review 2026: Can One Always Pan Really Replace Your Pan Pile?

It's 7:40 on a Tuesday night. Garlic is going soft in olive oil, there's a handful of greens waiting, and you'd really rather not wash three pans afterward. So you sear, add a splash of stock, drop the steamer basket in, put the lid on, and carry the whole thing straight to the table. One pan. One sink trip. That's the everyday promise behind Our Place and its famous Always Pan.
We went through Our Place's cookware, appliances, prices and policies on the brand's own site in October 2026. Here's what each piece actually does, which one fits your kitchen, and how to keep more money in your pocket when you order.
The Story: A Bigger Table
Our Place (the trading name of Lagom Kitchen Company) was started by co-founder Shiza Shahid and her partner. On the brand's mission page she writes that, as immigrants, they found their place in America by cooking and sharing food with new friends who became chosen family. The name comes from the everyday invitation "come over to our place."
That idea shows up in the products. Instead of a 14-piece set of single-job pans, Our Place designs a few multi-taskers, in colors pretty enough to leave on the stove. The brand's thinking, in its own words: if it's pretty enough to leave out, you'll want to cook more often. It also runs Traditionware™ collections that celebrate specific cultural celebrations and tables.
What Makes It Different: Two Cooking Surfaces, Two Personalities
Our Place now sells two very different pan families, and picking the right one is the whole game.
- Ceramic Nonstick (the original Always Pan®): a cast aluminum body with a stainless steel base and Our Place's Thermakind® ceramic nonstick coating. The brand says the coating is made without PFAS (including PTFE and PFOA), lead and cadmium, and that the pan body is made from 100% certified post-consumer recycled aluminum. It's oven-safe to 450°F, hand wash only, and wants wooden or silicone tools. Aluminum heats fast, so you can cook on low-to-medium heat and still get a quick sizzle.
- Titanium Pro: a 3mm fully clad tri-ply build with a stainless steel exterior, an aluminum core and a titanium interior using Our Place's patent-pending NoCo® nonstick technology, which the brand says works without a traditional coating. It's dishwasher safe, metal-utensil safe, induction-ready and oven-safe up to 1000°F (the Gold finish is rated to 750°F). That means you can sear hard, finish under high heat and throw it in the dishwasher afterward.
The trade-off is simple. Ceramic is the gentle, slippery, easy-release option for eggs and everyday sautés, at a lower price. Titanium Pro is the tougher, hotter, metal-spatula-friendly option that costs more and comes with a longer warranty.

Ceramic or titanium: which Always Pan is yours?
Buy the ceramic version if you cook mostly on medium heat, love a slippery surface for omelets and pancakes, and don't mind hand washing. The 10.5" comes with a modular steam-release lid, a nesting beechwood spatula and a steamer basket that doubles as a colander, and it holds 2.6 quarts. Buy Titanium Pro if you want to crank the heat, slide the pan into a very hot oven, use metal tongs and load the dishwasher. One care note: Our Place says to preheat Titanium Pro gently and always cook with a little oil or fat so food releases cleanly.
The Wonder Oven: small footprint, six jobs
The standard Wonder Oven air fries, bakes, roasts, toasts, broils and reheats, with a steam-infusion trick: add 1–2 teaspoons of water after preheating for moister results. Our Place lists a 12-liter capacity that fits up to a 4.5 lb chicken, a 200°F–450°F range and a 60-minute timer, plus a wire rack, bake pan, air fryer basket and crumb tray. Buy this if your weeknights run on frozen dumplings, sheet-pan veg and leftover pizza.
Set or single piece?
If you already own a decent saucepan, one Always Pan may be all you need. If you're furnishing a first apartment or a newlywed kitchen, a set gets you the pan and pot pairing at a lower per-piece cost than buying each separately.
