Flamingo Estate Fall & Winter Guide 2026: Forest Candles, Cold-Morning Showers and a Holiday Cake Scent

Flamingo Estate Fall & Winter Guide 2026: Forest Candles, Cold-Morning Showers and a Holiday Cake Scent

It's 5:15 p.m. and already getting dark. The heating clicks on, someone puts a pot of soup on the stove, and the house starts to feel smaller in the coziest way. This is the hour candles were invented for.

Flamingo Estate knows it. The Los Angeles brand groups several of its candles into "Fall Candle Scents," "Winter Candle Scents" and "Holiday Candle Scents" collections on its site. We went through those collections, plus its cold-morning bath sets and winter pantry, in October 2026 to build a simple plan for the darker half of the year, with the prices the store showed.

Why Your Candle Should Change With the Season

Summer scents are bright and green. Cold months call for something with more body: woods, resin, herbs that smell like smoke, a little sweetness. Flamingo Estate's seasonal collections lean exactly that way, built around forest, olive grove and herb-garden notes rather than pumpkin spice. Most 8oz candles on the site are $68, and the brand lists vegetable wax, a cotton wick and recyclable glass for its candles.

October: Herbs and Woodsmoke

Douglas Fir & Vetiver Candle ($68)

If you buy one candle for the season, this is the obvious match. The brand says lighting it "conjures the forest wind," with a crisp, smoky, subtly vegetal aroma anchored by vetiver, Douglas fir, angelica root and a hint of basil. Picture it on a side table while rain hits the window. It appears in all three of the brand's fall, winter and holiday candle collections.

Buy this if: you want the outdoors indoors without anything sweet.

Ancient Agrigento Olive Tree Candle ($68)

For softer evenings. The brand says this scent is inspired by sunset in two olive groves, its own at the Estate and the ancient groves around Agrigento's Valley of the Temples in Sicily, and describes the smell as green, floral, woody and alive. It's a calm, warm pick for a living room where you actually want to sit and read.

Adriatic Muscatel Sage and Tuscan Rosemary ($68 each)

The two herbal classics in the seasonal collections. Sage is described as cleansing and camphorous, softened by a hint of sweetness, inspired by the native sages growing wild at the Estate. Rosemary is described as warm layers of evergreen and camphor. Both suit a kitchen that smells of roasting vegetables.

November: The Cold-Morning Shower

The Awake Ritual pairs a soap brick with the Douglas Fir & Vetiver Candle.

When the bathroom tiles are freezing and the sky is still dark, a shower that smells like a pine forest makes getting up a little less painful.

  • The Awake Ritual ($166): a new three-piece set built around the Douglas Fir & Vetiver Candle, the Morning Soap Brick (made with cold-pressed peppermint, Big Sur sea salt, black poppy seeds and French blue clay) and a body wash the brand says blends six oils and six essential oils. The idea is "same scent on your skin, same scent in the air." It's final sale.
  • Morning Peppermint & Juniper Berry Body Wash ($58): if you just want the shower part, this one opens with peppermint, juniper berry and Douglas fir. The brand describes the scent as cool, green and sharply alive. Also final sale.

December: Something Sweet for the Holidays

The Prinsesstårta Candle, shot for the brand's holiday campaign.

The Prinsesstårta Candle ($75, or $87 in a Gift Box) has a properly festive backstory. The brand says it was born on a holiday trip to New York, where the team walked to Sant Ambroeus every day for its Principessa cake: layers of lemon sponge, vanilla pastry cream and almond marzipan. The candle translates that into sweet, powdery almond and spices, a creamy heliotrope note that recalls marzipan, oakmoss at the heart and musky amber at the base.

It's the one to light when guests arrive and the cookies come out. It also sits in the brand's Best Sellers collection.

Buy this if: you like a holiday scent that's sweet, but grown-up.

The Candle Greats Kit ($407)

For hosting season, or for the person who already owns everything, the brand bundles what it calls its six greatest scents: Tomato, Sage, Olive Tree, Jasmine, Green Goddess and Prinsesstårta. Put one in each room and the house smells different as you walk through it. It's tagged as a limited edition and excluded from discount codes.

January and February: The Winter Pantry

Creamed Mānuka Honey has a thick, whipped texture.

Long, cold weekends are for slow breakfasts. The Creamed Mānuka Honey ($98) comes from remote Mount Taranaki in New Zealand, where the brand says it flew its hives by helicopter onto native bushland. It's monofloral, meaning it comes from the nectar of Mānuka, which the brand says blooms for only about four weeks a year, and it's slowly churned into a creamy, whipped texture with an earthy, herbaceous flavor. Spread it on hot toast and watch it melt. Note it's final sale.

Holiday Shipping: What the Brand Actually Says

We looked for holiday cutoff dates and didn't find any published on the shipping policy or FAQ pages in October 2026. Here's what is written down:

  • Orders need 3–5 business days to ship, not counting weekends and holidays, and the policy warns that delays can happen over holidays.
  • Tracking can take 48 hours to appear after the shipping email arrives.
  • If a parcel hasn't turned up within 10 business days of that email, the FAQ asks you to contact the concierge team with your name and order number.
  • Candles are the one category you can return. Sets like The Awake Ritual and pantry items such as the Mānuka honey are final sale.

Put those together and ordering holiday gifts by late November is the safer move, especially for sets you want to arrive wrapped.

Ways to Pay Less This Season

  1. Subscribe to your winter candle. Candles like the Heirloom Tomato offer delivery every 4, 6, 8 or 10 weeks at 10% off.
  2. Cross $150. Two $68 candles plus the $58 body wash ships free in the US.
  3. Choose the Standard Box if you'll wrap it yourself. On the Prinsesstårta Candle, the Gift Box adds $12.
  4. Check codes carefully. Limited editions such as the Candle Greats Kit are excluded from discounts. Our deals page lists what's current.

The Bottom Line

Flamingo Estate's colder-months lineup follows the calendar nicely: Douglas Fir & Vetiver and the herb candles for October, a peppermint-and-fir shower for dark November mornings, the marzipan-sweet Prinsesstårta for December parties and a jar of creamed Mānuka for slow January breakfasts. Order early, aim for $150, and check our Flamingo Estate deals page before you check out.
