Is There a Trade Coffee Promo Code?
We didn't find a public promo code on drinktrade.com in October 2026. The main offer, a free first bag on the Discovery Trial, is applied by choosing the trial, so there's nothing to type. Trade also runs a referral discount through members' personal links. We won't publish a code we can't verify; if one appears, it'll be on our Trade Coffee deals page.
Deal 1: First Bag Free With the Discovery Trial
Take the quiz (about two minutes) and Trade matches you with three coffees from three roasters, delivered one at a time, with your first bag free and free shipping. Its cold brew offer page showed what that looks like on Classic-tier bags:
| Option | Regular | Trial price | Shipping |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pay as you go (1 bag) | $16.99 | $16.99 | +$3.99 |
| 3-bag trial (1 bag free) | $50.97 | $33.98 | Free |
| 6-bag trial (2 bags free) | $101.94 | $67.96 | Free |
Premium-tier coffees cost $21.99 per standard bag, so the dollar amounts are higher there, but the free-bag structure is the same idea. Trade labels the free first bag a limited-time offer.
Deal 2: Skip Shipping Fees
Pay-per-shipment orders of standard bags carry a $3.99 shipping fee. You avoid it two ways: prepay a bundle of 3, 6 or 12 bags (shipping included, bags still arrive one at a time), or switch to 2-lb bags, which ship free on pay-per-shipment plans. Over a year of monthly deliveries, that's roughly $48 in shipping you don't pay.
Deal 3: Choose the Right Tier
| Tier | Standard bag (10.93 oz) | 2-lb bag |
|---|---|---|
| Classic (100+ approachable coffees) | $16.99 | $39.99 |
| Premium (450+ coffees, incl. decafs and most espressos) | $21.99 | $49.99 |
If you drink medium and dark roasts with milk, Classic saves $5 a bag.
Deal 4: Referral Discount
Trade's refer-a-friend page says invited friends get 50% off their first bag, and the referring subscriber gets $10 in coffee credit (they must be an active subscriber). Know someone on Trade? Ask for their link before you check out.
Deal 5: Student Discounts
Trade's footer includes a Student Discounts link that runs through Student Beans. If you're a student, verify there first.

Trade Coffee Coupon FAQ
Does Trade have a free trial?
Not fully free, but the Discovery Trial includes your first bag free plus free shipping on three bags from three roasters.
How do I avoid shipping fees?
Choose a prepaid bundle (3, 6 or 12 bags) or 2-lb bags. Pay-per-shipment standard bags cost $3.99 to ship.
Can I cancel after the trial?
Yes. Trade says you can pause, skip or cancel anytime. Prepaid bundles renew automatically after the last bag ships, so cancel before then if you want to stop.
Can I gift Trade?
Yes. Coffee Gift Subscriptions cost $66 for 3 months, $132 for 6 months and $264 for 12 months, with one freshly roasted coffee delivered each month.
The Bottom Line
The smart way into Trade is the Discovery Trial for a free first bag, then a prepaid bundle or 2-lb bags so you skip the $3.99 shipping fee, on whichever tier fits your taste. Check our Trade Coffee deals page before you sign up.
